Zlatibor has confirmed its status as the most visited tourist destination in Serbia in the new year of 2024. At the end of the winter season, statistical data shows that Zlatibor is still the preferred place for vacation. During January and February 2024, domestic tourists mostly stayed in Zlatibor, recording 179,224 overnight stays, which is an increase of 37% compared to the same period last year. In second place in terms of the number of overnight stays are Kopaonik, Belgrade, Vrnjačka Banja, Divčibare, etc.
As for foreign tourists, Belgrade was the most visited in the first two months, while Zlatibor recorded 55,679 overnight stays, which is an increase of 34% compared to the same period last year. According to the data from the Republic Institute of Statistics, the most overnight stays in Serbia were made by tourists from Russia, followed by tourists from Turkey, North Macedonia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Romania, etc.
